"When you're on a really long voyage, you have to get beyond asking, "Are we there yet?" and instead start asking, "Are we making progress?"

The point is, life is a voyage. It started close to 4 decades ago for me (yikes!), and I don't know when it will end.  And so this little blog is my attempt at chronicling a bit of that trip: the things I've done, the things I've seen, and the many folks whose paths I've crossed - for but a moment or for the duration.

You could describe me in a lot of different ways - wife, mother, communications coordinator, writer, Christ-follower, sister, daughter, friend - to name a few. Yes, I can be characterized by each and every one, but not one single role defines me.

I'm also a pastor's wife.  Who sometimes says "ass" and enjoys a good mojito.

Bottom line: this is Nicole's journey, plain and simple. Join me for a cuppa as we scroll through a snapshot or two.
