I really feel like I got caught up with you in this post : )!
Sounds like life is good and busy! What degree is Rob doing?
MBA. It's a lot of work, but he is enjoying it.

Is he doing it part-time? Full-time?

I almost had Todd talked into doing an MBA. I told him that after a PhD it would be a piece of cake but he wasn't biting.

He's doing a distance ed program, and taking every other block (average - sometimes he takes two in a row, but there's a break in between, like right now). I believe it's set up for 2.5 years if you go full time - it will probably take him an extra year.

He's wanted to get his MBA for a while now, so even though the work load can be stressful, he is glad to be making progress toward this goal.

(I also failed to mention that it is as if I am back in school too, since I am the "unofficial paper editor", LOL. I am happy to report that we got A's on every one last block :-). )

Well done! :) When I started school, I had no confidence in my writing abilities and would have Todd help me with everything. So when I'd say, "I got an A," he'd say, "Who got an A?" But it all evens itself out; when Todd was doing his Master's he was just utterly swamped putting in 15-hour days in the lab and trying to keep up with classes. So my parents and I wrote a research paper for him about Ivermectin and got an A. Sweet! :)

Aren't you starting your own college classes soon?

I used to edit papers for $$ when we lived in the Midwest. I couldn't believe some of the papers that were brought to me, even at the grad school level!

Iplanned to take a course over the summer, but I haven't been a resident long enough (I could still go, but it's like triple the price). When do you start classes again?
Yes, definitely better to wait and pay less. When I started at Purdue I had been living in IN one year to the day. I'm teaching four classes to gifted students this summer and then my classes start again sometime around the end of August. 21 credits -- ugh!
Nic, I am so excited to hear all about your cruise. It is just fantastic that you are all able to do this.

Don't be afraid to put somethings in the ground. If you are not in a big yank for time, keep an eye out at your home centers for things that are done blooming and stick them in the ground for next year. Also there are sites where you can plan things out this one is from Better Homes and Gardens.

Thanks for the update on your life.

Thanks, Bec. I am pretty obsessed with this cruise - and with cruising in general. I really believe it is the best vacation for those in ministry (or any high profile type of job) because it forces you to get "out-of-touch" for a bit - unless you want to pay exorbitant amounts for cell calls and Internet.

I will check out that link - thanks!
