I didn't even make it...

...a week before I didn't-blog-everyday-even-though-I-didn't-officially-say-I-was-gonna-blog-everyday.

I am such a slacker.

In other news, we bought a stove tonight.  It will be delivered next Friday, which gives us time to get a gas line* run into the kitchen.

I hope it's as great as I think it will be.  Shoot, I'll just be happy if the brownies stop burning on the edges while the center stays mushy.

Priorities, people.  Priorities.

*We currently have an electric stove, but after having had a gas cooktop at our last place, I've realized that I prefer such.  And best of all, this oven is actually convection, even though it's gas powered.  Woohoo.

I agree, gas is the way to go. There's a reason that the expression is, "Now you're cooking with gas."

Totally gas. Especially for the stove-top range. Also, I like the metallic and black. Sleek.

LOL, I never thought about that, but you are right. I used to have the ceramic top electrics, and those are nice too, but there's just something about cooking over an open flame, whether it be inside or out on the grill.

One thing I really like about this one is that there is a long, griddle sized burner right down the center - no wasted space and a great place to make pancakes or omlettes.

When things were going well for my Gran her expression was "Now we're cooking with gas!"

I'm jealous. I am not the greatest cook, as you know, but I love gas for it's immediacy and consistency.

Yeah, I am pretty excited about it. I can't wait to do my holiday baking in it - it should be a pleasure rather than wondering if only half is going to cook properly :-).

I am jealous! but happy for you, I think we had that stove at our last house, Before we moved to Vegas I had only cooked on electric and then every thing in Vegas was gas, I am totally spoiled now. When we can I would love to have a gas Stove, wow convection oven, that is freaking awesome, Treats shall abound from your house!
